It’s 5.25pm already! 45 min to end of the day! Yey! Regina Spektor’s Fidelity has been on replay on my ipod - since we can’t even switch on the freaking radio, for the past few hours. Never seem to get enough of her lovely voice.
Indeed she’s music to my ears. Though literally as well.
2 more days and I can slack my ass off at home. How wonderful! Minus the poverty part. Sigh. Now I need to reopen the ‘effie charity fund’ again. Any charitable sweethearts please?

Finally, got some time off at work after busying for the past 2 days. Trust the boss! However, I wouldn’t be seeing her anymore. =( thought of having a farewell dinner with them on Fri but guess that would hafta be cancelled since she’s on compassionate leave. Condolences to her and her family. We finally bought our floorlamp for the living room! Now all we need left is the wallclock, large picture for living, another telephone and side table. Talking about telephone makes me pissed. I saw the ideal one I’ve been looking for at Best Denki last week! Best Denki! Can you believe it! It was selling for only 29.90SGD. Grrr! And to think we bought one near double the price at HKG! Grrr. But of cos the design of the one from HK is more intricate, but it’s quite similar looking! Gah. And I seriously think that we’ll end up having more phones than we need. Even my dad likes it! The Saturday spent at JB was a rewarding one. You can even find cheap Agnes b. tees there! But only for men. Grrrrr. Bought a few tops frm there including 1 from wet seal! Not bad! Cheap and good =) bought a pair of cheap heels too, but of cos not as cheap as HKD’s but at least they have my size! JB is good for health but let’s not touch on the crime rates there. I love the gift from my colleagues! But that’s cos I handpicked it. Tee hee hee. It’s better to get something i like right? It’s a lovely dress frm Forever 21 and I call it the Audrey Hepburn dress. Kesuma agreed on that too. =) I know apparels from Forever 21 aint worth paying but what in s’pore is? 1 more hour till I say my goodbyes here. Yey!! Time better fly for this hr! tmr’s midweek already! Finally, after all the waiting! Can’t wait for Friday! So many things to do over the weekend! And goodbyes to say to the people here….well, can’t bear to leave but I’ll hafta… i wanna swing by the new uber huge Ikea sooon!!!

It’s 4pm again! It’s raining freaking heavily that you can’t even spot the buildings that are a little further away. Rain, rain go away, come again, in the night! The sun deceived me in the morning. I didn’t bring the brolly! But it was freaking hot just half an hr ago! Crazeee weather!
Now i’m only reading old mails- read, reading, re-reading, sick of reading. No more new mails coming in except the occasional few from my sis and sara- gossip mails or just plain chatting. Urgh. Nothing else on this stupid com interests me. Yawn. Was so happy to receive an email reply frm pirate b*! hahaha. Thankudarling for the collage! Hee. That was a great night!
Now I’m waiting for work to end before heading home to check out the peeks she sent.
Dad finally came back in the wee hours of the morning. Stayed up to welcome him back and went to bed only at 2ish. Now I’m like a lil stoned, suffering from the lack of sleep. 2 nights of turning in only at 2ish can really kill. I’m so tired! Thank god my job ain’t a busy one nowadays!

He got me necklaces, a striped tee, a pair of “Effiel Tower” ear studs and chocs frm Tokyo. I’m a sucker for chocs! And the packaging is very cute! <3 a happy girl makes a good girl. =)

It’s pretty sunny today. Guess the raining season’s ended. No more dressin up in long sleeves! Honestly I only worn a few of those bought frm HK. Now I won’t have anymore chance! =( I totally hate the summer. But that’s good motivation for work every morning! The sun shines onto your bed and offers a warm wake up call. Wakin up in the morning last week was nearly impossible(I don’t wanna get the boot frm my boss after all).
Yest was ‘MUSE’ day. First, it was ‘Night at the MUSEum’ with the aunty and then to Fort Canning Park for MUSE in the late evening.
‘Night at the MUSEum’ is pretty good if you’re not a sucker of storylines cos obviously this show doesn’t stress on any. But if spore were to have a museum which comes alive at night, I would definitely be the first in queue! It made me wanna join in the fun with all the wacky historical artefacts, animals and people.
Thank god the rain stopped for Muse. The 1 and half hr concert was rocking good (minus the sissy young punks and bodysurfers) though it could have been better(hold it indoors next time pls, it was freaking hot!). I was glad they still did ‘Time was Running Out’ although it was an old song. Everyone went insane…
Let’s see if he’ll keep his words and return next year. Took a couple of peeks there, will upload ‘em once I receive.
For the first time, I actually made use of the ipod’s game, ’Music Quiz’ sara was telling me, ‘wth, you never play before?!’ First time experimenting today. My first record set was 85 out of 120 songs! Not bad for an amateur. Tee hee hee. Actually there’re a few songs that I don’t remember listening to...That’s some great song selection ipod came out wit. Now I know what to do when I need to waste time at work.Damit. I feel I’m wasting my life here now….

It feels a lil Fridayish today cos I’m having the day off work tomorrow! Why took leave for tomorrow? That’s for Muse(and of cos the lazy bones are acting up again)!

I’m typing this from the comfort of my office desk. Again. Yeap, I’ve spent most of my time staring at old emails. Again. Think I can make this into my daily routine. Instead of forking out time at home to blog, why not do it here? Tee hee hee.
Think it’s the sick month of the year. Few of my colleagues caught the stomach flu and that irritating ass is finally sick! Yey! I can’t believe it but YEY!
It feels good not having to see that face for today. If only life in the office can be this good everyday. No irritating voice chattering into my ears either! I’m enjoying every single second today.
The past weekend was a sit-back-relaxing one. Friday- did dinner wit Bud, felt like we haven’t met up for sucha long time! I’m surprised you’re suddenly infused by so many inspirations. But that ain’t a bad thing of cos. We’ll need to talk it over again, soon.
The dinner at Breeks was not bad. Only Bud’s steak is a no-no to all. DON’T try it cos the chef never gets it well done (literally!).
Did a lil clearing up at the old place in the late evening and then it was to Centrepoint for some cushions and bed linen. Bloody hell, I shouldn’t have bought those 2 cushions from Raffles City’s Robinson’s last week! We saw the ideal ones at Centrepoint! Arggggh!
The plan to suntan and swim yesterday didn’t go well. Instead, the women did some baking(and downing our creations too of cos). Yes! baking as in cooking, as in effie baking! Hahahaha. Yey! Shall do it again next week!
While the men were away, the women play! It was Ladies Night. We had Champagne wit breadsticks(with English butter) and cakes. They are a really good combi! And for the first time of my 20 years in Balestier, we actually walked all the way to Balestier Hill for some frogs’ leg porridge! Of cos it can’t be compared to the one at Geylang, or maybe cos the serving was too small?
Can’t believe, we actually walked all the way back to Shaw Plaza for some supermarketing and mac’s for sundae!
I never like walking all the way out to just have dinner simply cos my lazy bones refuse to.
We finally called Dad yesterday. Sounds like he’s indeed having some fun over there. Who wouldn’t?
I wanna roam the streets of Paris toooo! Bring me to Effiel Tower for some good food! I wanna greet mother nature at the countryside as well. =( I better start saving for the next trip to….. where? Just take me away!

Life in the office has been rather mundane like a typical 9-5 job. That so since 360 is wrapping up, less phone calls and emails..no more flooded inboxes…these might be a relieve, but I’m supa bored now! Imagine how bored I am when I can actually be typing my blog entry right now at 5.26pm. whoooo! Half an hour more to happy hour(Ieaving at 6 instead of 6.15 cos of the low wk load)! Nope, ain't heading to bars but home, for my happy hours being a couch potato. Cheers to that! Now I’m just so glad to be slacking my ass off at home.
HOME SWEET HOME! The new place is sweeet indeed. Can’t wait to swim for the first time in that new pool. Let’s hope I do not see fams, fams and more fams(or shall I say, kids, kids and more kids)! I’m not a fan of irritating, noisy kids.
This new year haven’t really started wit a bang for me. More like it started wit flu shots. First it was stummy flu and now, flu + cough. How unhealthy can I get?! Argh.
Spore has started it’s flooding season again…brollys everywhere! Going out is sucha hassle now. The raining season is also daunting Paris..hope daddy’s enjoying his trip. Let’s go together the next time!
