i've been so busy these past 2 weeks hunting for new stuff for my crib! so exciting! but packing the existing rubbish frm my old crib is gonna be sucha huge problem =( did i mention that my desk is filled with a blanket of dust? even my lappy looks a million yrs old. i'm lucky cobwebs aren't formed around them yet. keke. now, i gotta use that money and get lotsa new stuff that i want(which my parents ain't gonna folk out 'cos they dont agree obviously).
hari raya(cookies, cookies and more cookies at the office!muahahaha) and deepavali zipped past so fast!! i need more holidays! it didnt really feel like one. work is beginning to gimme the bad vibes and i'm always counting down to 6.15pm. or rather, always wishing for my boss to leave early cos she's forever around till 7pm the EARLIEST! that kinda leaves me guilty if i were to leave on the dot.
anyhow, i've been watching OK Go's 'A Million Ways' on youtube for the past two nights! i heart it! am gonna attempt those moves with 3 other folks, though i must say my body is kinda rigid. takes forever to mimick the moves! hahaa. it's really good choreography skills there!
it's amazing that even grooms perform this for their wedding. kewl. i would love my hubby to bits if he were to dance-not sing, bt dance- this to me. hahahaha. it's soo cute!

to start off, pls sing the anthem. i'm soo tired now i neeed sleeeep. but i'm excited now cos we're swinging by Tanglin Camp again tomorrow! yey! dinner last thu made me overspent. gotta really keep within budget this wkend. but that dinner was a good 3-course meal. appetizer- which was shared among 4 of us, main course and......dessert! of cos fine food come at killer prices.
poor james though, who had to meet us for lunch-supposedly boss wanted to lunch together but she was too held up by deadlines, head home and pick us up again. hahaha. thanks to him, really. well, hope you won't suffer that badly in tekong. be kewl okay, don't act a brave front! we all know you hate getting in! who'll love tekong anyway? prolly some psycho freak only. now that dinner was kinda like a farewell dinner for him at The Olive. it was one great night with just the 4 of us cracking jokes(abt the minister of health and the 'abit blur' waiter), relaxing(after stress at wk) and just talking. after dinner, we took a walk at labrador park, just1 lane away. breezy but a lil too crowded with groups here and there, expected it to be deserted.
after which, it's home sweet home. slept late again. argggh. and nw i gotta sleep soon and pull myself up early for breakfast home before meeting my friends in the early noon. can't really bring myself to go out for breakfast early although i've been wanting to do so since months ago.=( maybe nxt time. haha.

the weekends was a good one. filled with yummilicious treats by James, dinner at Jack's Place and Swedish meatballs at Ikea! =) just throw in something scrumptuous to make effie happy anytime! keke. oh yeah and i did try to control that poor wallet of mine which seems to get thicker and thicker-not with moolah but purchases receipts. hahaha.
after the a month, i finally got to catch up with bud and we, together with Felix, headed to Tanglin Camp together for the Biennale. it is sucha wonderful, peaceful and calm place. it is a great hideout indeed with chill-out wine and dine cafes there. there were some teak, carpet and balinese furniture stores there, definitely worth checking out.
too bad we went there too late, didnt manage to finish everything within 1.5 hrs. needa return next wk. haven't had such great fun out with bud for a long, long time. we got lost in Cluny Park while looking for Orchid Park but it was awesome. we found secret treasures in there...all the luxurious homes that were surely featured in 'Tatler' mags. oooh la la... all the rolls-royces,porsches, long driveways,CCTVs outside their heavy metal gates, huge huge magnificient bungalows.... omfg. and we wondered where the hell did these people just get their moolah from. maybe they're drug lords or something. even the stray cats there were beyewtiful and expensive looking. tsk tsk tsk. spore really has lotsa rich asses around.
enough of that rich shite. go catch little miss sunshine!! it's a really funny and touching film. no A-list actors but beyewtifully done. i love the Hoovers. Dysfunctional yet adoring and together with their also dysfunctional VW, perfekt....think i'll rate it as the best movie of this year..
okays, time to face boring Monday blues...gotta hit the pillows.
have a good wk ahead people! and yearn for the weekends in 4 days time!
