the tan didn't come out the way i wanted.grrr. not dark enough.worst still, my face seems to be darker than all other areas. aarrgh! anyways i had a busy but fun-filled day last saturday. baking at sentosa, shopping, food and the Devil Wears Prada. totally heaven! think i've been catching too many disappointing films before this one came along. it's completely lifted off the book, which is great. go get the read by Lauren Weisberger.it's the ABC of chanel, hermes,jimmy choos, blah blah blah. it only made me crave for NYC even MORE. gah. i want NYC!
caught urbanisation yesterday night on Central, made me wanna leave for London right then!argh.
my goal for this year: earn enough moolah for the trip to London or NYC early next year.
Sentosa has really got a new facelift with the new palawan beach and crowds everywhere. too crowded infact. us, 2 girls just soaking in the waters and baking under the sun. too bad it was pretty weak. to curb that desperation, we acted as tourists for 1 day. =( and i lost that lovely hairpin frm Queen Couture! grrrrrrrr. thnks to that indian boy.
managed to catch up wit bud and felix after shopping at marina and then dinner at that MK cafe and then, movie! thanks to bud for sending us home, though we watched 2 different films. haha.
and i finally had the time to be a couch potato on a lazy sunday.=)
can't wait for tomorrow's birthday celebration for my collegue. our team had lunch at tembuan mas, paragon today. glad to get out of Raffles Place for lunch. finally. my impression of Indo food kinda changed. it ain't that spicy and bad.... hmmmm.

sorry, didn't spend the evening wit you babes, gotta rush down to another friend's bday party. and it's all da way at...Sembawang. did some catching up with my Sec Skool friends too. then i had to rush back to MOS to meet the gurls again. darn was it tiring! thanks to char's friend we managed to get in without queuing in the snake long queue. invites and memberships-or at least friends who're members, is totally sweet. now i really hate queuing after the incident at butterfact last week. but, the crowd at mos was bad. or at least those in the cage. all the young ah bengs, weird ppl, irritating trees, etc. but we had fun making jokes and teasing the weirdos. lol. i know, evil. but i couldnt help it, they were too darn irritating.
anyways i'm surprised moulmeinians(ppl frm moulmein pri) are still surviving! glad to meet danny, char's friend who was frm moulmein. was sooo surprised when i know he's stayin near my place and even frm the same pri skool! when we were all sooo young and everyone so genuine to everybody else.. sigh. now im feeling darn old. =(
anyways, now sunday's like the fam day. every sunday it's out-to-town wit ma folks. but it's all good. oh not forgetting last fri, met ma folks too for dinner at the new raffle city's basement. sooo many restaurants to choose frm.. oohh la la... it's like the ultimate dreamland for a food junkie. tsktsk. i enjoyed the stroll after dinner over a cuppa NZ ice-cream wit the two of em. my silly daddy makin lame jokes and entertaining us wit his silly lil actions just to make us laugh even though he knows it's dumb. no idea why, it just feels so good. =)
think i gotta continue the weekend job next week. argh. i want more breaks!! hate working so much.

yes it seemed like one below-a day at Botanic Gardens. haven't been there since eons ago and they did make it look much better than before. it was a relaxing, lazy holiday. perhaps we should have breakfast there soon amid the clean, fresh air. a good refreshing break and slow stroll from all the hustle and bustle of town. if only i've got a license, it would've been so much easier and of 'cos, i'll be more motivated to go!
the past 2 weekends were endless fun. Bern's 21st, Botanic Gardens, poptart @ Butterfactory,meeting up wit bud and gang.... glad that she's happy with the surprise. =) thanks to everyone, it went well. the buffet was good tooo!i'm sure everyone enjoyed emselves.
Friday was THE day. i decided to just plug into my ipod at work. the workload + stress + no muzik environment really is taking it's toll on me! and guess what was on the whole 8 hours at work? Friday I'm In Love of 'cos! it was on replay. it really got the whole party cum poptarty mood started. i never get sick of this song, hmm, i wonder why?
actually it was a diet poptart affair at Butterfact. a first visit to BF for me and the queue was maad, think we queued close to 1hr 45min. grrrrrr. i've never queued so long before! imagine, excited before the party and dozing off while you're queuing. should have gotten the damn invites. now we know!but all the frustrating pains were paid for once we were in. it was fucktastic fun!we were all dancing silly and mimicking 'sexy' wit the 2 ghey boys. oops. lol. at least malv was entertaining us wit his ghey antics. haha. not forgetting bumping into my cussie, Jackson which made someone smile. or should i say,overexcited. haha. we were running crazy and arguing which rooms to stay in-especially since stan wants to stay in the rnb area. lol. art bar was better!
