haven't spent some quality time wit ma folks for a long time so today shall be it. had lunch at far east's hans. one set meal of grilled fish fillet please. yey!
freaking full after that and yet my parents wanted to have tea at 5pm! we only had lunch at 3pm! oh gawd. no wonder i can get fat.
and guess what, tea-time was at hans again! lol. my parents seemed to like hans alot. well, give em' a few weeks of hans and they'll get bored wit it soon. that's what always happens. but their cakes are cheap and nice!! $2.80 for chocolate cake! that's quite a good buy. considering starbucks and coffee bean and the other coffee joints' prices. which is crazee. $5 for a slice of cake?!
i had milk tea too. hehe. sucha good combi, chocolate cake wit milk tea. hmm..
talking about milk tea makes me sad. i want to have hiong gong's milk tea!! sigh.

after the lunch and tea we spent da rest of the evening strolling in town. skool's gonna reopen tomorrow, so they ain't much kids around. yey! hah.
dad bought his Parker pen holder from ck tangs and the rest was window shopping. as usual. lol.
he wanted this Mont Blanc one but unfortunately there ain't any sale going on. so being dad, he rather buy the cheaper one. lol.
dinner sucked though. had this kirage udon at scotts picnic. eee. so blardy oily. so damn fattening!! regretted ordering that so badly!! i even suffered from indigestion hours after the dinner. gah.
well overall i did enjoy my day today. nothing beats having some time out wit your folks.
shall await for the on- coming stress for the pushy deadline this friday! questionaires! not forgetting next monday and tuesday's roadshow. when am i eva gonna get some time to rest. on weekdays that is. heee. maybe the roadshow is gonna be fun after all. we shall see :D

after the dessert we stopped by crumpler to enquire about the part-time job. 12-9am and 12-10pm full shift! hmmm. well i'm not quite sure if i can do that. apparently, you've gotta work there for at least 1 year. hmmm. forgot to ask about the pay rate though. a lil too sensitive perhaps? but i need a job!! wonder if i should go for it. but what if i ain't happy working there?! since all the peeps there seemed like full-timers and old crew. what if i get bullied there? sigh:(
think i shall hunt around a lil longer and take whateva better offers that come..
oh yeah and i bought this spongebob squarepants plushie for $34.90! a lil too pricey perhaps? but then it's so cute! and i haven seen any spongebob plushies around town. and this one has an added feature: face making. you can actually adjust the shape of his mouth to make whateva silly face you want for him. hee. ain't it cute. my mum nearly killed me when she saw him on my bed. ' wah! so many softtoys already you still wanna buy this one? collect more dust to breath in isit?!'

well well...went to many places today..
met bern in the afternoon at bencoolen today. wanted to make a new pair of glasses but apparently, the stuff featured in designer eyewear ain't suitable for me. or rather my nose bridge. damn to those sad features:( wanna get burberry's or armani ones but the shop seemed kinda empty.
we headed to tekka mall in hope of shopping-or rather window shop- for some second hand vintage items but the shop has moved to changi!! i think i just saw the print out in life! last month yet the shop is gone now!! been waiting to visit the shop for weeks yet now it ain't there anymore. slowness effie! you're too slow! goodness finishes fast!! grrr.
so we went down to bugis which is so freakin packed wit ah bengs and lians. gah. wanted to have mos burger for lunch yet the place was too hot for us to handle. but i did have my usual dose of milk tea:D hadn't touched it for like, months! went to check out the burberry's i saw at 1 of the optical shops there but it's GONE! sigh. so fast! even armani frames aren't that nice anymore. the good stuff are gone!!
had a late lunch at bras basah complex- i think?or odeon towers- at macs after collecting my o.d.m clock. heee. now there's this stream of flowing text : Live my starry dreams in my colorful-stripey- dotty world. on cloud nine surfing through waves of difficulties!' how motivating! lol. i know it's a lil cheesy but nice at the same time! haha. bern lent help on this phrase as well. haha. thanks sweets:)
after our good lunch- so called good la- we walked to raffles city for a lil Lifeshop and mango. crazee sale there but ain't as bad as Shaw house's one. padang was having some rehearsal for the coming national day wit packs of sardines all ova the place.
so we headed to town for some usual shops and then for dinner at bakers' inn. neva am i gonna eat there again. unless i'm freakin loaded of cos'. i hate the catch whereby you gotta order drinks as they wouldn't be served. but their desserts are good. too bad i gotta stuff it down my throat cos' they close so freakin early. 10.30.
supposed to meet ma homies in town but fark they all left for grapevine witout me! so freakin pissed that they suggested me to take a cab down. think i'm freakin loaded isit?! gah! what's worst, we left for guth's house half an hour after i arrived. shouldn't they have said earlier? then perhaps i would've hung out in town longer or even went home and save on da cab fare. i hate takin cabs especially wit the midnight meter on. grrrr.
and what do i get at the end but a ' wah your wallet so ex but only got 4 bucks left ah?!my wallet so cheap but got $$$'. apparently the $$$ means his wallet is loaded wit truckloads of cash which is too risky to disclose, not cos he is freakin poor like me.

yesterday was betta though. managed to catch Initial D on da opening day. so blardy crowded wit the whole theatre infested by skool kids which is damn noisy lah. haha. haven't watched a show wit full house since years ago! da show was good-cos' edison's in it- though edison ain't da lead actor. i don't fancy jay chou but he was cool in the show. cool cum shy. i really love the way he drifts the car, so cool and calm. but then again, it ain't him doin the stunts. lol.
anthony was cool, teaching jay the ropes and i thought he's a really cool dad. haha. i mean like, who the hell would teach their kids to stunt drive? and which dad would wear slacked tees and tattered vintage jeans lah? lol.
went to birks after the show and spotted the one i like again. apparently it's da new collection, fruity colors! oh lala! shall wait for the dough to roll in first and decide again. sigh. what to do poor pricks just have to develop patience.
went blackjack and saw these really nice ellesse apparels..wah...make me drool. the prices made me stop though. a retro-printed skirt costs a murdering 259 bucks. omg. that's like the price of 2 pairs of birks. gee. but it's really nice wit cute big and medium colorful buttons and all. sigh. i shall just dream of it in lala land.
i was supposed to head home by evening to finish my report, but being effie( and bern), we headed to rocky masters for some good food. again. i can neva stop this craving for food everywhere i go lah. shite. i ain't at my puberty stage no more, so can someone tell me why the hell am i craving for food 24/7?! but honestly, singapore is sucha boring place, other than munching, i really do not know what else to do. hee or is that an excuse?
well da cake at rocky master was good!! more rocky master visits is predicted. and best of all, the price is economical! betta than starbucks and the other coffee joints. and i like the peace and quietness there.
well well i'm gonna meet up wit bern later! i really need to visit da specs shop in bencoolen and see what dope frames they've got. this current pair is irritating the shite out of me. and they are old already. if you consider 1 yr and 6 mths old. burberrys or armani or levis? but i hate levis. hmm...maybe they've got something betta than those. shall see if we can find any cheap shite there.

had dinner at ichiban boshi finally!! haha. been waiting all these months for this day to come. had always been staring into da restaurant while working at da farking chocolate shop. watching diners come and go...watchin how long da queue is on weekends.. wahh...finally! my turn has come! lol. da sushi there is really ichiban! prices are reasonable and really sushi wit good standard! unlike nonsensical ones like suki sushi wit food that sucks.

da mango 3/4 i wanted is gone. neva gonna be found back again. so i settled for a dark colored one instead of da light baby blue one. that color just seems to make my bad looking hips look worst. bumped into aj lata and she told me mango;s gonna have a sale this month! gawd damit!! what a waste of my money. better pray that this pair doesn't go on sale :(

sometimes men get angry ova da slightest things. i got no idea why.
rong wanted to get some stuff from apple but erin and i weren't free to accompany him yet he got pissed? ain't it a supa minor problem to get pissed ova? i mean if your friends are busy having their meals, and you wanna get something, of cos you would go get it yaself right?
seriously you wouldn't want your friend to have their meal halfway through and get their ass off the sofa to accompany you get some stuff right? if you're gonna stay after getting what you want would be fine. but you even mentioned before hand that you would leave once you get what you want??!! ain't that worst than us not accompanying you?
i certainly hope you ain't still pissed ova da incident. it is silly. really.
guess i'm not as eccentric as some people. and to get pissed ova the inability to get your friends to accompany you? seriously, i do find it ridiculous. no idea what you were thinking. sigh.
what would you do if you were to hear of stories of your good friend reacting far differently from what you expected her to towards a sensitive situation?

but i just hate guys who don't bother to wait for their girl friends to shop. can't you guys even have a teeny weeny bit of patience? and not forgetting the fact that it's only for a lil while. it's not like we'll take up the whole afternoon! even if so, what about you guys? we girls gladly accompany you guys to shop witout the slightest complain man!
