woke up at 2 and had to rush and be outta da house within half an hour!wtf. that's some speed there. folks, please kindly wake me earlier if you guys wanna go out so early!! went ah ma's place for a simple lunch and fetched unkle Vendemeer(or wateva his name is spelt) to de royale. apparently he wansta buy/ rent an apartment in singapore. think he wantsta settle here or something in da near future. saw a really pretty red-white dotted vase in there. omg. so pretty!!!no idea where da creative designers got it from though. luv it so much that i took a pic of it discreetly. ain't supposed to. i guess.
den it's to united square for this showroom of suites up in one of da offices. it's oooohh so nice!!but not advisable for da old cuz it's glass, glass and more glass everywhere! if you ain't familiar wit da place, you might just walk into 1 of the glass walls. but perfect for youngsters!! it's soooo nice!!clean-cut. and they had furniture which are made-to-order which are so unik!
ma sis and huat joined us after that and we headed to water place at waterfront for viewing. boring place la...da showroom was so out of trend. think they were decorated during the stone age. hee hee. then we headed to haig place. okays. not bad. showflats are fun. you get to update yaself wit da latest kewl creative decor which is pretty good for idea churning. and ahem when you move in wit your love ones :)
after all that, we sent unkle Vendemeer back to sentosa Beaufort. again its heaven...didn't know it's such a beautiful and relaxing place!amidst lush greenery and quiet ponds all around da whole compound..ahhh...makes you feel so stressless!well i guess Rasa-Sentosa Shangri-La sucks after seeing Beaufort. it's more of a adult environment. kept far away from noise and hectic life. sigh.. how i wish i was da one staying there instead. he brought us to his room and he was staying in a suite! whoa..how kewl is that. too big for me though. too empty a room..but nice bathroom i must say "p too bad as da place is dim wit minimal lightings(so as to create a relaxing environment. not that da lights are spoilt, mind you nutheads) i couldn't take much pictures. only managed da 1 wit da glows of lights. not forgetting ma camey was running low on batt. i so need a new camey. haha. everything was just so right there lah. i must go soon!! treat stress from skool as an excuse. wahahha. come to think of it, it ain't an excuse. it's true!

what a fun-filled day. met up wit rex, kathi and gang today after skool. actually was supposed to meet only min for dinner at fullerton but at da last minute, kathi invited us to join em for a game of pool. hmmm haven been playing for ages, so why not? but before that, dinner at bakerzin @ atruim. for those of you nutcase who don't have a freakin idea where it is, it's right beside plaza singapura. well dinner was good. min,kathi,rex and me had a filling one wit everyone doing the pasta. we had a good long talk after that wit rex doing the story-telling. whats new. lol. rex, purls don't kill me if you eva read this :P
well he told us endless stories about his course. mass comm. da course which i so regretted i didn't get in. sigh. and thanks for making me regret even more by telling me "oh ethel you really should get in that course. it is so you! you would sure enjoy if your in there la." damit. i so wanna get in now. chillin ova coffee while doin project.. hmmm that's some stress relief ain't it. and thanks for da story about you falling asleep during pqs module. darn farnie balls. and yet it's so true, wtf do we even bother to stay up during the lessons? and wth is wit da "i'm up the cliff you see, and you guys are waaayy...down below. i hafta fall a few levels to be on par wit you guys' mentality and be able to communicate." basket. da way you put it made us sound like some unmature, still under puberty freaks. lol. okay though i admit that we once went through that. lol. know what that signifies? it means your old! lol. no hard feelings ait :P

came across the song 'forever young' by Alphaville on ma way to school today. made me had sad and good memories of da good ol' days again. wheneva i'm alone in bus rides, i just can't help but think back of da past as secondary skool kids board da bus. which is practically everyday. memories just came flooding ma empty brain and i can't help but miss high skool eva so badly. well why da song 'forever young'? that's because during our graduation ceremony, da skool commitee showed slides of our skool activities and events with 'forever young' playing at the background. well that triggered me to compile the top 30 things i miss about skool. will compile another list if i can think up more. the below is irregardless of sequence.

2. mr koh's constant rantings about each and everyone of us in class.
3. mr ahmad da nice and warm form teacher who is too nice for a teacher, more like a dad to us.

24. sneaking fried chicken from da malay store into the art room and class of 5n1.
25. wei xiang, da unkle wit unbearable b.o each time after his soccer games. he knows it and laughs it off. lol.

well woke rather late today. what's new. lol. went to marina sq to meet ma gurls. kim, min and aiwen. well supposed to be marina square. apparently, i went to marina square while they went marina south. thought i heard ova da phone that we gonna chyll at esplanade after da wonderful dinner at marina sq. hell was i wrong. i arrived at marina sq and called aiwen, only to heard her say' we are at marina south not marina square!' omg. i told her' your not serious rite?your kidding right?' hell no. damn i really am at da wrong location. and i was already late. now even worst. that left me with no choice but to take a cab down there. sob.

went home and had a good shower. met aj at wisma and went cine for dinner while waiting for kitty and gua. kitty came semi-drunk. high to be specific. lol. he looked lyk he just done wit clubbing. haha. we bitched while waitin for da show to start at 12+ while kitty slept soundly away. hide n seek. rather nice. unexpected ending. sorta expected halfway through. lol. sad story though. not as scary as xpected.

well, rong kept calling, askin us if we were heading to his place yet. dunno warts wrong wit him, so kan chiong! he called lyk twice while we were there. hmm we were thinkin why he's so kan chiong?we're not there to 'bai nian' wart, cus he isnt supposed to. but he wants us to bring oranges to 'bai nian' but no ang baos would be given to us. strange, we thought. and it's a practice to go his place late at night everytime. so now, we're sorta out of time. quickly finished up and paid da bill. me and kim bid farewell to min and aiwen as they were heading home, den we took a cab down.
the majong session has already started wit rong, rod, gut and liang at da table. me n kim went up to his game room to 'bai nian' to his mum. but i didn't get da oranges back. lol. his mum was busy playing 'xbox' and online can you believe it?haha. so cute. we should be da 1s playin xbox and she should be down there playin majong. haha. den i went back down to take some pictures wit nicky. he is oh-so-cute! too bad he was sleeping soon, so i couldn't play wit him. tried to take a proper pic wit him lookin into da camera but he just wouldn't! haha. rong was busy trying to take da picture for us. haha. sorry bud! sigh i should have went there earlier.
went to majong after that. liang gave up his seat to me and i played wit the risk of his assets. lol. while kim played wit the risk of gut's assets. wart assets you mite think. instead of money, they betting on choke-choke( think it's spelt this way) haha. their invention. dun ask me wart it is. too explicit to define. kids are readin this blog mind you. kids lyk leslee? lol. so ya it's their assets dat is gonna get it if both of us gals lose. but of cuz they were sittin next to us to guide us. did i mention we are beginners? haha. yeah. played before ages ago. 1-fold, 'kang', 'pong'. still can't differentiate how to attack and defend though liang thought me. lol. if i were to ask every single question on ma mind, i think he would faint. haha. i think it's rather mind-boggling cuz you must master da game well to know wart tactic you should use. and you must change your tactic if the game is headed for another direction. just too complicating man. i need more time to master! had majong tutorial 1 and 2 but think i need a 3 soon. haha. i helped liang to win a few games and he didn't lose much either. thank god.
alan came wit erin soon after and stayed for awhile only before leaving. apparently, things weren't on da bright side for em. sigh. den i went in to join rong for tv session for awhile. wart show is that man. 'san guo yan yi'? he told me its some show that was filmed for a duration of 10yrs! a decade! omg! and da actors probably are dead by now cuz it's a damn old show. wart wierd friends i have, liang watches 'pi li huo' and now rong watches ' san guo yan yi'! haha. how ironic, teens nowadays have da wierdest habits. oh yeah and seniors play xbox. wth?! haha.
kim left and we had supper at rong's place(leftova food and maggi mee) before alan drove back to rong's place. he left he's handphone at rong's place so he came back for it. and he nearly got caught drivin without a license cuz there was some road block on da way. lucky for him! den he drove us home while rod sent liang home on his bike.

yey!it's da 2nd day of da lunar new yr n i was down to ma sis's place for hong bao collection!heehee:p was supposed to go to ma paternal relatives' place, but ma parents left da hse at 12plus! da aftermath of zouk was taking it's toll on me and yet they xpect me to be up by 11? wth i slept at 8am!! dead tired!
so ma sis woke me up at 12plus and ordered(yesh ordered!) me to dress up as her bf was cumin soon to fetch us. slacked at his place for da whole afternoon and had our dinner there. quite alot of ang baos i must say. *hiaks hiaks* and to top it all off, da delicious foodies frm his mummy...wart excellent skills!unlyk mine:( haha. okies i shldn't be so mean during CNY. delicious soup too!i <3!! had a rush dinner though, cuz they gotta head to their friend's place, apparently for sum gambling session. So they dropped me off near Beatty, ma old 2nd home(Mr Koh told us).
walked to kim's hse frm there and slacked at her place while waitin for rong,liang,gut n rod to arrive. cooled her down as there was sum tension at her crib. we were dead bored watchin 'pi li huo'(think dats hw it's named) and pigging on da new yr goodies at da same tym. Apparently dat's liang's fav show, which i hope aint true. n i think kim's mum was happy to tell us wart da scene is about, cuz we had no freakin idea.lol.
we left for bishan junct. 8 soon after to catch Constantine. Keanu!!such a hottie:) had mac while waitin for 12.40 to arrive. haven been there for ages, surprised at all da changes n new makan places! saw 'JJ' or 'lin jun jie'(think dat's hw its pronounced) at da theatre, juz rite infront of me. liang was pretty excited when he saw hm!haha.me n kim were lyk, wth is dat? den liang kip sayin 'dat guy ah,JJ ah'..haha.heard before,but no idea hw he looks lyk.haha.da show was okay. found it similar to buffy or the exorcist. but who cares?keanu is kewl in da show:p hee. waited for kim's dad to pick her up den shared cab wit gut n went hm.

yey it's da 1st day of lunar new yr and we're all enjoyin da yummy(not forgettin sinful) goodies!heez..n not forgettin photo takin sessions!!n more ang bao $$ rolling in!yeahooo...met up my see-em-once-a-yr cousins,aunties n uncles,all of em didnt change much..and this yr's a lil different wit my cussie bk frm aussie and she brought her bf back as well.heehee.
1st stop: went to ma aunt's place n took a whole truckload of pics wit my beloved cussies:) leslee has grown taller,even taller den me!omg..i think collin has grown quite abit too..n daph's da same ol' sweet gurly.well everyone's happy!dat's gd!and we got to savour tempting,yummy desserts done by aunt janatta..at last, no more tasteless food!!haha..she knows it,we all say it!
den went to ah ma's hse to visit ma paternal family.and of cuz collect more angbaos!heehee.went to ma big aunt's hse after.i was so tired frm previous days' cleaning dat i fell asleep at her place.haha.all da aunties were busy gossiping after all.aunties. went back to ah ma hse for dinner and den it's party time to ZOUK!
met aj at orchard mrt and took a bus down to zouk to meet up da rest. surprisingly,we were da 1st to reach!saw stanley's fren among da crowd,so queued wit him and got in so early!no choice,came out to queue wit bel,ben and billy and we went in together. bumped into rudie and stanley while inside. not forgetting a few other familiar faces as well. oh ya n ma clsmate reuben.how ironic...crowded on 1st day of lunar new yr.thought everyone shld be at sum friend's/relative's plce celebrating.den finally gua and quek came in to join us in phuture. was rather disappointed cuz i seldom get to dance to retro yet ma frens dun like retro:(so gotta go phuture n spent da whole night there.
left for shell for some dehydrated-aids and can u believe it,i took 2 buses home cuz there ain't cabs around!n i dropped dead once i was home.

yey!!bought lotsa stuff today! so happy:) cuz its da CNY cummin to ya face baby! can't wait..crazee shopping everywhere in town and ikea.
started ma day waking up late..haa..supposed to meet kim at 12, but woke only at 11.30? lol..and she only msg me, not call me! so i got no idea how blardy late i was. sorry dear. hee. well i woke up and rushed out of ma crib and met her at da PIE bus stop and we went down to ikea. thank god it was a monday so it ain't crowded. we arrived as hungry pigs and gobbled down da yummy hotdogs:p missed it so much, think i haven't had it for 2 years? hehe.
den it's to shopping! had fun wanking(not da real wanking) around in ikea, plopping into practically every couch in our way. heez. rong joined us shortly and we made him carry da heavy yellow big bag. yesh we made him, he didnt volunteer! and he kept ranting at us for makin him do that. lol. sorry buddy:) a mans gotta do wart he gotta do. lol. after we got to da lamps section, kim's impatient friend started calling and bugging her to go down town to meet her. she had no choice, so she left us 1st.
shop, shop, shop, till we drop, or till i drop cos rong only bought a rug.
i bought: 1. boxes, big and small in sizes. in need of em desperately.
2. a cushion and a striped cushion case :D
3. a blue and white striped throw, same as rongs.
supposed to buy more stuff like glasses( i think they're nice) and a huge cushion for da cosy corner in ma room but i gonna hit town after ikea, can't possibly bring so much stuff to town since i ain't driving:(
we went to queensway after that as rong desperately need shoes. went to limited edition but he can't decide between black and white vans canvas. went to converse but couldn't find black sneakers so we went back to limited edition, stood outside to decide whether or not to get it as the size didn't fit rong very well. no la actually it's him being indecisive! so much for claiming that i can't make up my mind when shopping yeah. haha. finally he decided to head town to get em instead as kim was waiting for us there.
took a cab down n went searchin for vans in stadium but he wanted brown in his size n it was out of stock! so he got to choice but to look around..we headed for far east and met up with liang there. left foot, parallel and sneakattack didnt have it either..den we saw fred perrys at this t-shirt shop near collage. it's nice i tell you! but he didn't get it la. wasted:( said that berms wouldnt look good wit that. it's okay wart! sigh. then we walked past this shop opp. collage. that's where i spotted ma love. adidas vintage handbag. OMG! i've been searching for ages!!finally...it costs only 49 bucks. wart a must-grab! i got it instantly without 2nd thoughts. lol. so happy! but our shopping bags were a lil too heavy. lol. made liang n rong help me take. haha. everyone was pushing their shopping bags to each other, so lazee to carry! haha.
i left em to meet aj at hair inn soon after cuz i had an appointment at 8pm there. supposed to go wit kim but she changed her mind. that gal, keeps insistin on cutting her hair but now, last minute change her mind. wtf. haha. da gal is foreva wit long hair! liang helped me carry some stuf to lighten ma load, then i rushed off to centrept.
aj was already there dyeing her hair and vincent helped me wit ma haircut. initially i wanted just a trim and layered more but ended up it became shoulder length! omg so short!!!! i told vincent i wanted to just cut off 2 inches?turn out, it became like 3 inches? omfg. i want my hair!! sigh but it's already cut!:( sob.
waited for aj to get done and headed to mac's for dinner, or supper cuz it was 10 already. so busy, didn't even haf chance to eat! ma dad came to pick me up and sent me to get ma stuff frm gut. apparently gut met up wit da gang and he was holding ma shopping stuf.
now comes da funny part. ma dad put me near lucky plaza n left me there witout my hp! i waited for a damn long period of time before giving up and thought of borrowing hp frm some stranger. and if u stranger is reading this: fark U! do i look lyk some cheapskate freak who would rob you of your hp? maybe i do but NO! if i were to rob you, i would rob you of your money you damn asshole! this stranger is of philipino nationality, i guess. i politely asked to borrow her cellph for awhile just to make a quick ph call, explaining ma situation and she was like "oh no, cannot" while givin me this strange, suspicious look. you think you're holding da lastest Vertu gold-plated hp model ah? would i bother to steal a cheap sony/ericsson hp ma dear? i was dumbfounded! mumbled a soft "oh. okay" to her before her kind bf(or whoeva) took out his hp and volunteered to lend me. i was about to dial for ma dad's no before he arrived speeding and screeched to a stop right infront of da 3 of us.
ma dad's face was as black as charred bbq seafood and together with ma mum, started screaming at me. thanks so much for leavin me behind and now embarrassing me infront of some freaky asshole stranger. i think the da 2 strangers were kinda shocked at wart happened. lol. da look on their faces was quite farnie. i said ma thank you to da kind lad and without farkin da ladee off, jumped into da car in a jiffy.
well, happy shopping day today only da ending was a spoiler. now i know how cautious peeps in spore are, wit strangers borrowing hp. so much for a kind hearted, helpful and polite impression of singaporeans eh?

i woke up rather late today around 4 and had ma lunch. slacked at home all da way till like 7 before getting a comfirmation from rong to meet up ma hommies for dinner and the machinist! we met up at cine and as usual, da guys were late. i met rong 1st, then alan came along. so da 23 of us went fin steak restaurant(da 1 beside subway,sorry if i got da name wrong.hee) for dinner.The service there is so bad, doubt i would eva go back there again.
den liang joined us. he was dressed in a singlet or t-shirt and we started ranting at him. lol. i brought this old skool polo, supposedly for rong(he's a sucker for old skool stuff) but ended up everyone insisted on liang wearing it. lol. initially he kept commenting that it sucked, but well, it's much better than wateva he wore. and i still think it is nice okay! he changed his mind shortly, praising himself, looking good in that. lol. told ya! gotta trust us! hehe. oh ya n he even took truckloads of pictures wit da polo shirt on. wit a slight touch of magik, alan's aviator, he looked so much betta!
Rod arrived soon after and we went to get da tickets for the show. Waiting time was a killa. Took truckloads of pics to kill our boredom. 'Aunty'Erin came to join us after her bugis outing as well:) the show was quite a good one, though some of you might beg to differ. but i think the show is interesting..oh ya think a few peeps left halfway through da movie..it ain't that bad..or isit?i think da show was rather thought provoking initially, with all da strange scenes which are unexpected but everything was revealed at da end. As usual.
After da show we headed to this cafe near cineleisure. shux i forgot da name. it's beside 'Expressions' in this quite old office building that is beside da public carpark infront of cine. Quite a cosy and nice place wit couch:D Nice! but da food aint that good. at least for da waffle, quite sucky, but guess da rest was not bad. haha. Time for another photo taking session! Chylled there till 3plus, 4 before sharing cab with rong and headed back ma crib.
